Hello there! I'm excited to introduce myself to you. My name is Jack Rhodes, and I'm a fourth-year double major in marketing and journalism. I have a passion for writing and storytelling, which led me to pursue my degree in journalism. I have had the privilege to work with prestigious news organizations like the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Oglethorpe Echo, which helped me sharpen my writing skills and gain invaluable experience in the field.

Apart from my passion for journalism, I enjoy staying active and playing any sort of outdoor game. Running is one of my favorite activities, and I find it to be an excellent way to clear my mind and stay fit. Reading is also one of my favorite pastimes, as I try to read books that expand my knowledge.

Volunteering is something that I hold close to my heart. I volunteer with organizations that help people living in poverty, and it has given me a deep sense of empathy for those who are less fortunate. As a result, I worked with the Covering Poverty Institute within Grady to learn more about the issue and find ways to inform the public about it.

My family has a strong connection with the University of Georgia, and it's where my little brother has recently been accepted,  making it so my entire family will be a Dawg! Being an explorative person, I enjoy traveling and finding new stories to tell. My end goal is to use the skills I've developed in my undergraduate studies to pursue law school, where I can continue to grow in my education and make a difference in people's lives.
